Privacy
Short version: we count how our games are played so we can fix them and show you games you'll like. We don't know who you are.
What we collect. When you play, your browser sends us anonymous counts: which games you open, how long you actually play, how many taps or key presses (the number, never which keys or anything you type), level and score, loading speed, frame rate, errors, and broad facts about the screen (phone / tablet / computer, portrait or landscape, rough window size, browser family). On the home page we count which game tiles you see and click, and what you search for.
Country and device. Once per visit we also record where and on what you play, in coarse terms, so we can see which countries play which games and which phones struggle: country, region and city (looked up on our own server from your IP address with an offline database, then the address is dropped), time zone and language setting; operating system and browser with their major version, device type and model where the browser reports it (for example "Pixel 7" or just "iPhone"), screen size, pixel ratio, number of CPU cores and memory as the browser reports them, the graphics chip family (for example "Adreno 650"), connection type (wifi / cellular / 4g), whether the screen is touch, dark mode, reduced motion, and whether the site runs as an installed app. The browser's full user-agent text and the raw graphics string are read once, reduced to those short names, and never stored. These facts are not combined into an identifier and are never used to recognise you. Under Do-Not-Track we record only country, screen, OS, browser and language (no hardware, graphics chip or model).
The anonymous id. Your browser keeps a random id (in local storage, key hl:id) so we can tell that the same visitor came back and order the games for you. It is not linked to your name, email, IP address or account. We do not use fingerprinting and we do not store IP addresses (they are used for a moment to stop abuse and to look up the country, then forgotten; our web server does not log analytics requests). Search words are stored without the id.
Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends either signal, we create no id and store nothing on your device. We still count the visit anonymously in totals (like "a game was loaded"), but nothing is joined into a profile and the games are not personalised.
How long. Raw events: 90 days (heartbeat ticks: 7 days). Daily totals per game: kept, with no ids in them. Your anonymous play history: deleted 13 months after your last visit. Backups: 7 days.
Delete it. Clearing this site's data in your browser drops the id. To delete what we stored too, use "Delete my play data" below, which removes every row for your id within seconds (and from backups within 7 days).
Who sees it. Only the haso.lol owner, through a password-protected stats page. We don't sell or share it and there are no third-party trackers or ads in this system.
Accounts. If you later sign in, your anonymous history may be linked to your account so your recommendations follow you. Deleting the account deletes that link.
